Acharya Narendra Dev College, New Delhi Overview
In Govindpuri (Kalkaji), Delhi, India, Acharya Narendra Dev Institution is a constituent college of the University of Delhi. [citation required] was founded in 1991. Acharya is run by the Delhi government and is entirely sponsored by them. Dr Shashi Tharoor, the Union Minister for Human Resources Development, introduced Creative Commons India in New Delhi on November 12, 2013.
Open-source software and open educational materials are important to the college. It is the University of Delhi’s first college to switch to Linux. The Web Center has 80 computers, and all of the computer laboratories are Linux-based. Proprietary software is used sparingly and only when absolutely necessary by the course material. Campus Placements provides a platform for graduating students from various professions of two-year postgraduate and four-year undergraduate programmes to accomplish their professional goals and aims, and so requires the active and ongoing participation of employer organisations.
