The University of Faculty Of Law, University Of Delhi is a well-established legal school. It is the national centre for legal education. The department has produced numerous legal luminaries, Supreme Court and High Court justices, and outstanding advocates since its foundation in 1924. Even though it is an egalitarian school that provides nearly free legal education at a low cost, the department is blessed with elitist alumni.
The department attracts talented students from all over the country and internationally because of its faculty members’ unrivalled knowledge, multicultural atmosphere, and location in the heart of the national capital. The department is constantly upgrading its infrastructure to include state-of-the-art facilities. The college provides a three-year LLB programme and the department currently has about 130 faculty members and around 7000 students, including LL.B., LL.M., and PhD students, yet it operates on a shoestring budget.
