Manipur University
Established in 1980 under the Manipur University Act, Manipur University (MU) Imphal was converted into a Central University in 2005. The university currently has 116 affiliated colleges, including two medical colleges, and is accredited with a Grade 'A' by the NAAC. Manipur University accepts the CUET exams for admission to various postgraduate and doctoral courses in fields like commerce, management, law, science, mass communication, humanities and social sciences, engineering, and arts.
