North Delhi Municipal Corporation Medical College, (NDMC) Delhi Overview
The North DMC Medical College is one of three Medical Colleges administered by Municipal Corporations in India. The Medical College of the North Delhi Municipal Corporation was founded in 2013. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Dwarka, Delhi, has partnered with North DMC Medical College. After meeting all of the requirements of the Medical Council of India for a letter of intent and a letter of permission (LOP) for establishing a new medical college, as well as renewals under section 10A of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956, the college was established on the Hindu Rao Hospital Premises.
All pre-clinical departments and a few para-clinical departments have been established, while all other departments (para-clinical and clinical) have been enhanced greatly. The M N Passi Block houses two air-conditioned eighty-seater lecture theatres and a 350-seater auditorium, both of which are equipped with multimedia equipment, while the Central Library and auditorium are located on
