Amar Jyoti Rehabilitation and Research Centre, New Delhi Overview
In both Delhi and Gwalior, the whole campus is barrier-free. The disabled-friendly bus, tactile walkway, loop induction, ramps, and all other essential accessibility features are provided, earning the Presidents’ Award in 2005. The camp model allows the trust to reach the unreachable all around the country. The lifeline express has also been created in Madhya Pradesh’s rural districts.
The Amar Jyoti Research and Rehabilitation Centre, which is run by the Amar Jyoti Charitable Trust, was founded in Delhi in 1981. Amar Jyoti is a non-profit organisation that provides comprehensive rehabilitative services to people with disabilities, including blended learning, medical care, technical programs, child guiding, and self-employment. The institute offers an excellent study environment and has a lot of student-friendly facilities for a hassle-free learning experience.
The Amar Jyoti Institute of Physiotherapy (associated with the University of Delhi) started welcoming students in 1999, with the goal of meeting community healthcare needs via physiotherapy
