Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, (DIPSAR) New Delhi Overview
The Delhi University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (DIPSAR) was founded in 1964. It was promoted from the College of Pharmacy to the Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (DIPSAR) in July 2004 by gazette notice under the Department of Training and Technical Education, GNCT of Delhi, which is affiliated with the University of Delhi.
The DIPSAR is currently a constituent institution of the DPSR University, which was established by government legislation on September 11, 2008, as India’s first pharmacy university, Delhi Pharmaceutical Science and Research University (DPSR-U). DIPSAR has grown into a State of the Art Institute. It has grown into a full-fledged Center of Excellence that is consistently generating world-class pharmaceutical scientists and pharmacists, making a substantial contribution to the world’s growth and advancement, particularly in India.
