Dyal Singh Evening College, which stands like a light in the midst of the city, represents a mix of history and modernity, which is represented in its slogan. The institution’s illustrious history can be traced back to its founder, Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia’s vision. It began operations in the capital in 1959 as a constituent college of the University of Delhi and was taken over by the University of Delhi in 1978 as a university-maintained institute.
The institution provides five undergraduate courses in linguistics, history, cultural studies, economics, and business, as well as all of the major divisions of the arts and commerce. The College now has roughly 3000 students on its roster. The institution offers a dynamic and expansive campus that is easily accessible by Delhi Metro.
