Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, (MAIDS) New Delhi Overview
Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences is located in the centre of Delhi’s National Capital Territory, giving it access to the finest of both Old and New Delhi. It is at the centre of cultural, entertainment, and intellectual activity. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, India’s first Union Minister of Education and Scientific Research, was the inspiration for the medical and dental institute’s name. Maulana Azad Dental College and Hospital was established in 2003 as a separate entity from MAMC and was given autonomous status by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi in 2003.
The institute has always strived for excellence, and the opening of the nine-story dentistry facility in 2003 has propelled it to new heights. It was given autonomous institute status in 2006 and renamed Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences.
